Frankfurt/Ratingen. At the ISH 2005 Keramag put on show a significant design modification of the most successful ceramic series in sanitary history. The focal point was the addition of ‘Plan’ to its complete and existing range, ‘Renova Nr. 1’, which was enhanced with five further angular washbasin versions, a hand-rinse washbasin and two WC-versions with seats. With this expansion the manufacturer offers fitting products of attractive design, but within a price range that is attractive for the market sector of both rented accommodation and for the sanitary facilities of the public and business sectors.
Adding these products to a 15-year-old, existing, tried-and-tested and continually improving series, Keramag offers sanitary suppliers, architects, planers, investors and operators an already well-established quality assurance, breadth of range, compatibility, functionality, economy, durability and ease of upkeep that they know and value. The fact that the ‘Renova Nr. 1’ product range has for many years been holding the top spot of sanitary products ordered and used in rented accommodation construction, council buildings, gastronomy, hospitals, petrol stations, bus and railway stations, airports as well as sports and leisure facilities, is testimony to its popularity with decision makers and planners. Besides its quality and the broad range on offer, the highly economical price/performance ratio is surely accountable for this success.
The new rectangular ‘Renova Nr. 1 Plan’ washbasins, with patented designs, distinguish themselves through a strict geometry with soft round bodies and broad rims. Typical for ‘Renova No. 1’ is the slightly raised edge towards the wall that helps its flush adjustment and makes it easily identifiable, too. The basins, which measure 48 cm in depth throughout, will be launched onto the market from April 2005 piece by piece in the following widths of 60, 65, 85 and 100 cm. The 55cm-variation measures 44 cm in depth. All washbasin models can be combined with a half-pedestal and ‘Kerafix’-quick installation. Installation can be carried out in a couple of ways: they can have the standard wall-fixing or can be placed on a countertop. A wall connection is necessary for the latter. Each one of these can be fitted with vanity units or furniture underneath.
The hand-rinse washbasin, measuring 38 cm in depth and 50 cm in width, is also discernible by the new angular, timeless and modern design. The ‘Renova Nr. 1 Plan’ series is finally rounded off by two new corresponding wall-hung WCs – one with wash-down and one with wash-out flush – including seats and lids. All new products are available in Alpin-white, Manhattan, Ägäis and Pergamon. At a little extra cost they can also be supplied with the dirt-repellent glaze ‘KeraTect’.
With a wealth of positive data and based on past performance factors, the ‘Renova Nr. 1’ series with more than 140 products on offer, is without doubt the preferred choice for architects, planners and sanitary trades people for public and commercial applications. Seals of approval for ceramic objects such as the ‘LGA-Construction-Type-Seal’, ‘GS-proof for Safety’, the Gravitation Proof from the Federal Bureau for Civil Safety, the Certification of Quality Management according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and the Certificate for the Management of the Environment according to DIN ISO 14001, lend these products further weight. An added bonus is the 10-year product-availability-guarantee, guaranteeing the availability of the core products in the range, its sheer breadth, the technical catalogue, tender information, planning assistance and the bespoke customer care service at the point of sale and beyond.
Alongside the ceramic washbasin ‘Renova Nr. 1 Plan’, Keramag also introduced the new ‘Renova Nr. 1 Pro’ washbasin at this year’s ISH, a similar design which is made from the extremely durable and resistant mineral-based material ‘Varicor’, allowing production of the washbasin in any size (minimum 55 cm wide) – to suit individual requirements. This option is particularly suited to furnish places such as changing rooms with rows of washbasins, found in public or commercial sanitary settings. This innovation will be available from April 2005 in all the existing ‘Varicor’ colours.
