“Active”: New Wash Trough for Industry, Sport and Leisure
Keramag new product for ISH 2011 / Solid solution made of mineral material “Varicor” / White colour “Alpine” with antibacterial effect / For high demands on ergonomics, cleaning and hygiene /
Frankfurt/Gaggenau. Keramag introduced a new wash trough for sanitary rooms in industry, commerce and sports and leisure facilities at the ISH 2011 in Frankfurt. The “Active” wash trough is made of the particularly hard-wearing and low-maintenance mineral material “Varicor”. It fulfils the ISO Directive 19712 and CE-mark in accordance with DIN 14688.
Thanks to the ergonomic form, which can be seen particularly in the bevelled basin, “Active” makes it easier for manual workers and athletes to thoroughly clean their arms and upper bodies. The new design also sets standards in terms of its easiness to clean and its hygiene. The integrally moulded backsplash and jointless connection prevent the formation of nests of dirt and reduce the maintenance required. The wash troughs are available in the two white tones of “Duocolor” and “Alpine”, with the latter actually having an antibacterial effect as per the JIS-Z directive. Any number of the wash troughs, which are designed for up to three users, can be installed next to one another. The water is supplied through wall outlets, meaning the rear section of the wash trough can also be cleaned quickly and easily.
The product, which is moulded in one piece, with a rectangular bowl also has a integrally moulded front screen and backsplash on the front edge of the storage surface. It is secured using grub screws.
The new wash trough is available in the following sizes: External dimensions 1,876 x 555 mm, backsplash H 50 mm, bowl 1,656 x 400 mm, front screen H 200 mm, backsplash H 50 mm, material thickness 12 mm.
“Varicor” is a polymer-bound, poreless material, which has been established for 25 years, due to its substantial resistance to acids and disinfectants and how easy it is to repair.
