BAU 2011: Keramag sets standards
Sanitary design solutions for the property industry / Comprehensive offer for bathrooms, guest WCs, nurseries, hotels, restaurants and public and commercial sanitary facilities / Trailblazing in terms of design, function, reduction of water consumption and brand quality /
Munich/Ratingen. With a broad range of new products and complements to existing ranges, Keramag AG highlighted its pioneering role in sanitary product innovations at BAU 2011. The manufacturer introduced some particularly interesting features in Munich, including bathroom furniture suited to specific ages, reduction of water consumption in public and commercial sanitary facilities, and user-friendly design of sanitary facilities for nurseries and small enterprises.
A particular focus of the trade fair presentation was the generational bathroom Dejuna, which was launched in 2010. The cross-generational bathroom range combines timeless and modern design with improved safety standards. In this respect, Dejuna meets the needs and requirements of both young construction companies and renovators, as well as the 50+ generation. The design language ensures that, even in upmarket private bathrooms, people will not associate this range with a bathroom designed for disabled facilities or hospitals.
A new range is the particularly space-saving guest WC range iCon xs. The manufacturer also relaunched the design classic Preciosa and presented the water-saving urinal flush system Flushcontrol 1000.
One product innovation in particular attracted a great deal of attention: the play and water landscape 4Bambini, which, along with the new sensor tap of the same name, has been specially developed for nurseries. 4Bambini complements the existing Keramag special range for children, comprising the Kind washbasin, user-friendly WCs and a basin for baby care.
The Active range was launched at the Munich trade fair. This range comprises versatile moulded components made from the particularly robust mineral material Varicor. This range was conceived mainly for use in commercial washrooms.
Tried-and-tested successful ranges, such as Renova Nr. 1 Plan and the waterless urinal Centaurus, were also presented at the Keramag stand. The manufacturer is also a pioneer in design, function, water reduction and brand quality in this field.
Keramag, like its sister company Koralle, is a member of the Finnish Sanitec Corporation, which has approximately 8,000 employees and 25 production locations, and is Europe’s market leader for sanitary ceramics, bathtubs and showers.
