Keramag: Pioneering Innovations at the ISH
Trade fair focus: Private bathrooms, generation bathroom, water conservation and special concepts for nurseries, hospitals and commercial buildings / Turnover plan 2010 “considerably exceeded” / Optimistic for current financial year /
Frankfurt/Ratingen. At the ISH 2011, Keramag AG set an example of sanitary product innovation with a wide range of innovations and series enhancements. The focal points were new concepts for sophisticated private bathrooms, the all-accessible bathroom, water saving and low-maintenance sanitary installation design suitable for users in nurseries, hospitals and commercial establishments.
The trade fair presentation focused on the new complete bathroom series, “myDay”, which provides more lightness and emotion with its floating, natural elegance in the general living trend, additions to the “Dejuna” accessible bathroom, the “Dejuna Pro” range as a special solution for hospitals and old people’s homes, the space-saving “iCon xs” concept for guest toilets, the water-saving urinal flush technologies “Flushcontrol 1000 N” and “1000 N GLT” and the new “Active” wash trough for trade, sport and leisure.
In Frankfurt, Keramag appeared to be satisfied with the business development in 2010. The “ambitious turnover plan” had been considerably exceeded and, consequently, it had been possible to further expand on the leading market position in sanitary ceramics. For this year too, Michael Hellmund, the chairperson of Keramag, and sales manager Reginald Thal are expected further rising demand: “We are expecting considerable activation in residential construction and in public structural engineering. In addition, commercial structural engineering, which stagnated in 2010, is set to recover. The Keramag range, which is unique in its depth and breadth, offers versatile and impressive products for all three structural engineering sectors. For this reason, we also want to participate disproportionately in the recovery in 2011. Our sales partners in sanitary wholesale and trade will also benefit from this.”
As with its affiliated company Koralle, the German market leader in sanitary ceramics is part of the Finnish Sanitec Corporation, which is one of Europe’s leading producers of sanitary ceramics, tubs and showers, with about 8,000 employees and 25 production sites.
