Preciosa II: design classics with new product line

Munich/Ratingen. For more than 40 years, the bathroom range Preciosa by Keramag has been a byword for timeless and modern design. The striking combination of square silhouettes with circular basins has turned the range, particularly the individual washbasins, into internationally pioneering classics. At BAU 2011, the brand manufacturer presented some attractive updates and expansions to this unique range, which is preferred by planners and architects for furnishing upmarket washing and toilet facilities. The existing tried-and-tested Preciosa range is still available.
As part of this relaunch, Keramag designers have created new washbasins with reduced projections and designs. The previous sunken tap hole bench has been deliberately omitted. Thanks to their consistent design language, the new wall-hung WC and bidet create a impressive link to the washbasin. The updated range is completed by new furniture elements.
At the trade fair in Munich, a new hand-rinse basin (400 × 280 mm) with right-hand tap hole was presented, as well as washbasins (with tap hole and overflow) in 600 × 500 and 900 × 500 mm, which can be complemented with hand towel rails to the side.
The ceramic range also comprises a wall-hung wash-down WC with the option of a WC seat with soft-closing mechanism, and a wall-hung bidet. Matching new vanity units (600 and 900 mm), a hand-rinse basin vanity unit (400 mm) and a tall cabinet (400 × 1700 × 300 mm) in white high-gloss finish are also available. The furniture is mitred, an elaborate way of constructing, which gives it a particularly high-quality character.
All ceramic objects are available in Alpine White and can be provided with the dirt-repellent surface finish KeraTect® on request, which comes with a 30-year guarantee from the manufacturer.
