Ratingen. A beautiful extension of the success series “Renova Nr. 1 Plan” had its first showing at the SHK in Essen. The extension consisted in two substructured wash basins in fashionable rectangular shapes, which features a central waste and does away with the conventional tap hole bank. The products have been designed primarily for use in public and commercial washrooms.

The new wash stands are available in two sizes with inside dimensions measuring 50x38 and 46x35 cm. To determine the outside dimensions 6 cm have to be added on either side. The basin depth equals approx. 13.5 cm and corresponds with standard wash stands. The ground edges ensure neat bonding. The modern design creates a timeless and modern appearance, particularly where rows of wash basins in public and commercial sanitary facilities line up. The new products will be available from July 2008 in three standard colours: “White”, “Manhattan” and “Pergamon”. They can be supplied with the easy-to-clean surface finish “KeraTect” upon request.

The two substructured wash stands are optionally available with an exterior overglaze in “White”. As the waste is in the centre, the wash stands may also be turned by 180 degrees. This way the overflow, normally not in the user’s field of vision, now ends up on the wall side, facing the user.

In addition to the substructured wash stands a half pedestal for hand wash basins has now also been included in the “Renova Nr. 1 Plan” range. Like all other wash stands of the series the 50-cm variation of the hand wash basin can now also be combined with this attractive additional element. Existing products already installed can be retrofitted with the half pedestal without problems.

At the SHK Essen the manufacturer emphasised that these extensions to the range were tailored to suit market needs and would further improve the versatile usability of “Renova Nr. 1 Plan”.
