Frankfurt/Ratingen. In the sanitary sector, special requirements require unique solutions. This is especially the case for hospitals, rehabilitation centres and old people’s homes where particularly high hygiene standards and with essential easy cleaning requirements.
For these specific areas, at the “ISH 2009”, Keramag introduced the wall-mounted WC “Wadis” without flush rim. The design especially takes into account the need to prevent the spread of bacteria cultivars and avoidance of inaccessible hollow or redundant spaces. For this reason, “Wadis” is suitable for installation in prisons, psychiatric facili-ties, stations and airports, where WC void spaces are frequently mis-used to conceal unauthorized materials.
The washdown WC made from hygienic porcelain has a ceramic flush distributor. The flush water guide is fitted along a moulded undercut along the length of the bowl. The optimized design of the interior area reduces the risk of infiltration by dirt and also simplifies the cleaning process. The projection is 535 mm with a width of 360 mm. Thanks to the concealed attachment, cleaning of these products is also much easier.
“Wadis” can be combined with a fixed seating ring or with WC seat with lid. The fixed seating ring model is particularly recommended for especially high-risk sanitary systems.
