Ratingen. Over the past few years, Keramag has set new benchmarks in training thanks to the BäderForum initiative. The core aim of this programme, which has a unique educational slant and covers a variety of topics, is to help sanitary retailers and wholesalers – as well as planners and architects – strengthen their skills in advice, planning and marketing. A new, extended range of seminars for 2010 including dates is now available.
The innovative partner concept comprises three types of seminar: bathroom workshop, bathroom design and bathroom marketing. The bathroom workshop series, which is a popular tried-and-tested concept that has been in existence for many years, offers basic and trend seminars as well as the training session ‘Designing with light’. The specially developed model room makes presenting individual bathroom landscapes and lifestyle worlds much easier. The comprehensive stocks of materials enable various design options to be realised for various types of floors and walls. In addition, the lighting modules available provide opportunities to practise skilful lighting design.
All three seminar types focus on one central topic: how to cater to the client’s taste as much as possible while awakening a fascination with bathrooms and thereby achieving a high level of customer satisfaction. One of the new seminars in this series is the business seminar ‘Successful company positioning’. This covers the individual development of ‘customised’ communication concepts which take into account company positioning and orientation with regard to the respective company location.
With the bathroom design seminar series, experienced presenters talk about principles of freehand drawing and – for advanced participants – the creation of detailed plan drawings for the customer’s chosen style.
The bathroom marketing package comprises various training modules for salespeople, expert advisors, installers and business owners. Participants are shown the best way to improve sales figures, the strengths of female managers, sales-oriented use of relationships, successful telephone sales, approaching customers in the growth market of adults aged 50 and older and skilful sales arguments. In addition, the manufacturer also provides interested professionals with insights into ceramic production in the Wesel and Haldensleben factories.
Beate Vetter, head of brand communication at Keramag AG, had the following to say about this remarkable initiative: ‘Numerous sales professionals in the sanitary ceramics industry, such as specialist retailers and wholesalers, planners and architects, have already benefited from BäderForum, both personally and professionally. The consistent, practically oriented seminars ensure the best possible learning outcomes for all participants. This confirms the exceptionally good ratings we are given by participants.’
The seminars take place in the BäderForum in Keramag’s main administration building in Ratingen. The high demand and limited number of places mean that early booking is recommended for the following events.
